This Gallery takes us from the end of the Rocky Mountain National Park to Cheyenne, WY. It includes a hike that brings us near the source of the Colorado River -- a small stream that eventually grows into the raving river that helped carve out the Grand Canyon. While on the hike we had a conversation with a couple from Houston, TX who shared our love of the outdoors. Continuing along we drove through 100 miles of Western Range without seeing one other car. The lighting was most beautiful ... difficult to completely capture with a camera. We drove into the night ending up approximately 40 miles from Cheyenne, WY where we would spend an unforgettable day at the Cheyenne Frontier Days. The next Gallery.
