This gallery documents the last two days of our trip to Georgia and back. It starts with our approach to Asseteague Island from the VA side and then from the MD side. Asseteague is known for its herd of wild horses that can be found anywhere on the Island. Bob had gone there in the 60's and seen none. This time was a different story. They are everywhere including the beach where people are sunbathing.
Another special treat was having breakfast with Pam's nephew, Charlie Witham, who is studying art in Baltimore. Finally, we stopped at Abbot & Costello's in Groton, CT where we had the BEST lobster roll in the East -- a place introduced to us by a friend of Tommy's some years ago. Cooked and prepared on site, hot with melted butter and served in a picnic area next to the ocean. Check it out.
