It was long overdue. Bruce & Nancy purchased a camping trailer that is situated on Pemaquid Point, Maine...and we have been unable to find the time to visit...until the weekend of July 18. We only had time for an overnight but managed to cram in a tour of the area, a lobster bake at the Pemaquid Campground, a sunset at the Pemaquid Lighthouse, a campfire, a 5:15AM Sunrise at the Lighthouse, a visit to the Pemaquid Fort and then some beautiful kayaking on the bay.
We had a special treat when we went to the campground Lobster Bake and ran into Al Pethick one of Bob's 1964 Classmates at Bates College. Alan, hope to see you again soon.
Thank you Bruce and Nancy. Your are great hosts, and your cooking leaves nothing to be desired...except another meal at the campground.
