Nantucket is named as one of the Five best places to spend the 4th of July. It's no wonder. Come with us and watch the Face Painting, the bicycle decoration contest, the puppet show the Pie Eating Contest, the Watermellon Eating Contest (broken down to age groups ranging from 5 year olds to full grown adults. Hannah and Sarah won blue ribbons in their respective age groups and then Sarah went on to win the Grand Championship--all ages-- for the 3rd year in a row. When you see her technique, you'll be amazed). The kids then took turns in the ball throwing/water dunking contest to get ready for the Grand Finale--the biggest water fight in the world.
