This gallery documents our participation in Hutton Life's Great Escape to London. It involved staying at the Dorchester, a first class hotel, surrounded with Rolls Royce's, where we were welcomed by a contingent of the Royal Marching Band followed by an unforgettable meal. The next day we explored London, did a little shopping and then ate at the Beefeater (A medieval restaurant hosted by people in period costume who involved our group in a Bawdy skit). We rented the latest high end BMW and went north to visit Stratford on the Avon, visited Shakespear's birthplace and took a boat trip on a canal with locks. My parents were taking care of our two daughters and there is a picture of Doreane (7 months pregnant) calling home from a classic phone booth. We drove to Windsor Castle and took side trips to Speakers Corner at Hyde Park, Westminster Cathederal, Westminster Abbey, the New London Bridge, the Tower Bridge, Harrods, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Parliament, and Piccadilly Square,
