This gallery highlights a special side trip we made on our trip to visit Will & Julie in GA. It was Jessie's first reunion with her mother and sister since we picked her up 3 months ago. For us it was an especially meaningful reunion as it gave us a chance to see Jesse (Jessie's breeder) and his wife, Sarah. When we arrived we found it was Sarah's birthday so we celebrated with them and went out to eat at a local restaurant. Because of their Amish beliefs, they are not comfortable having their picture taken, so our only pictures of the visit are of them across a parking lot and a view from the rear as they lead us into the restaurant. Most of the photos are an attempt to capture the feel of "Amish Country", the land around Ronks, PA.
