This gallery is the 15th of our 2019 Road Trip. It takes us from Orem, UT to Casper, WY on our way to the Badlands of South Dakota.

The day began with an Oil Change at Doug Smith's Kia outside of Salt Lake City. We received good service and a complimentary car wash, but I was disappointed as I hoped to see Doug Smith who I knew at Bates College in the 1960's. Apparently he owns several dealerships and was not in that morning.

We had breakfast at Kneaders Bakery (a fancy Paneras), said goodbye to Utah via Park City (famous for skiing) and said "Hello" again to Wyoming. Along the way we observed ever-changing weather patterns (complete with rainbows), a Morman Historic Site at Devil's Gate and up close and personal moments with Pronghorns (see photo regarding Pronghorns and Sagebrush). Pronghorns depend on Sagebrush for food and Wyoming has more sagebrush than anywhere in N. America. It is not surprising that 2/3's of the worlds Pronghorns reside within 300 miles of Casper, Wyoming. As an act of solidarity we end our day at the Super 8 in Casper, WY.
