The last gallery of our 2019 Road Trip takes us from Mitchel, SD July 26 to Cape Cod, MA on July 29. The last picture shows that our brand new, one month old car already had 9,000 miles on the odometer. So much for our lease that allows for 1,666 miles per month.
The highlights of this gallery was coffee with a couple at Caribou Coffee (poor substitute for DD), visiting a Cabellas with one of the worlds largest wild animal exhibits (the intent was to replace Bob's Tilley Hat which had been lost at Yellowstone), mingling with prairie dogs at a prairie dog town, and visiting the Worlds Largest Truck stop in Iowa. The rest of the trip was quite a blur although we almost took an unscheduled trip to Osh Kosh, WI to join Scott and Daniel who had flown a plane from FL to WI to participate in the largest Air Show in the world. We decided at the last moment not to go when we found that dogs were not allowed.
In Walcott, IA Jessie escaped, ran through a field, across a road and was almost hit by a truck. She stayed away for about 10 minutes and then returned when her nose sniffed a greenie (see Pet Smart) that we waved in the air.

The only other memorable event was a late night discussion as to whether to take 80/90 as the best route to avoid Chicago traffic.
From there on we had clear sailing to MA. It was good to get home.
