Well, after three and 1/2 years, Bob and Pam were finally married. We're sure that must be a great relief to Charlie and Barbara French (Pam's parents) and Mary Peek (Bob's mom). What started as a planned elopement (with the full blessing of our parents -- especially Bob's mother whose own elopement lasted over 60 years), escalated into an almost full scale wedding, thanks to the encouragement of Bob's daughters who did not want to be left out.

The wedding was "almost" but not "full scale" in that there were no formal invitations, no wedding party (Bob explained at the ceremony that the guests themselves were to be considered the wedding party--those who were willing to stand up for, support and hold the couple accountable), and no sit down meal. Of course, food turned out to be one of the biggest hits of all. Thank you Peter, Lisa and Alex MacDonald for the purchase and preparation of an exceptional array of finger foods--not to mention a delicious cake. And thank you Bob Kinsman for working alongside the MacDonalds. We also want to honor Richard Steinhoff who prepared and provided the punch and worked behind the scenes.

Thanks go to Tom and Will MacPhee (Pam's sons) and Ryan Peek (Bob's son) for their help in ushering. Andrew MacPhee (Pam's youngest son) deserves mention for lighting the candles and "supervising" the ringing of the bells at the end of the ceremony. The beautiful flowers and bouquets were designed and created by two of Pam's sisters, Dianne Stephenson and Carolyn Witham and Carolyn's daughter, Margaret.

Thanks also go to Bob's daughters Kayla Berube and Audra Peek for their beautiful rendition of "So Are You To Me" and Pam's brother, Andrew French and his wife Molly for their song, "When You Say Nothing At All." Audra should also be mentioned for taking Pam shopping and helping her select the wedding dress (It was quite a stretch but Pam insisted on buying it with her own money. Cost: $19.95. Really!)

Thank you Jane, Saghi, and Navid at the "Salon Navid" for your gift of preparing Pam's hair and makeup.

Karen Bomberger and Nancy Nickerson are to be thanked for their special services as they attended to the needs of the bride in preparation for the ceremony.

And who can forget the team of photographers who offered their own special perspectives on the event: Jerry Peek (Bob's brother), Bruce Nickerson (Bob's friend), Bob Magneson (Bob's friend), Charlie French (Pam's father), and Olivia Searle (Pam's neice).

Special thanks go to our wonderful wedding team at Free Christian Church: Jon Paul (Pastor & Officiant); Lorna McDonald (Set up and clean up, general all around on-site director/encourager, and bell ringer extrodinaire), Ben MacDonald and Mandy Bickel (audio/visual) and last but not least, Eric Lindahl who provided his special blend of music and worship.

Our three purposes for this wedding were to

1. Get married

2. Provide a venue for family and friends to become aquainted.

3. Worship and honor the One who first established the Sanctitiy of Marriage

We want to thank all our guests for sharing this treasured memory with us and we invite all those who could not be there to enjoy this gallery with us.

Finally, and with the utmost of humility, we want to thank our Awesome God for bringing us together and providing so bountifully for our needs.

Enjoy ...
