Come with Bob, Pam, Bruce and Nancy for the season's first kayaking excursion. The day was beautiful and the tides/winds suited us perfectly. The trip began and ended on the west coast of Cotuit Bay. We paddled past Point Isabella, to North Bay, went under the bridge at the Wianno Yacht Club, crossed West Bay, landed and walked on Dead Neck/Sampson's Island, and then returned to Cotuit Bay.

In an attempt to find Bob and Pam a peice of real estate, it was decided that the building depicted in image #27 might be the most appropriate candidate.

We want to give special mention to some great people we met along the way: Nate Bent and his crew who work for the Audubon (photos 107-111), the Curly family (photos 115-119; 122-132), and the Appalachian Mountain Club Kayakers (photos 162-171; 186-191).

The day ended at Bruce and Nancy's campsite on Cape Cod Canal. There Bruce demonstrated how easy it is to take a nap in his new Pop Up Trailer. Later we were joined around the campfire by Nancy's brother Dick and his wife Leedia.
