Using Ellsworth, ME as our jumping off point, we headed to Bar Harbor and Cadillac Mountain immediately after breakfast. Cadillac Mtn. is a popular attraction because it has a road to the top that provides exquisite views of the surrounding scenery. Many people go to the top at sunrise to be the first people in the continental US to see the sun in the morning. Our 6 month old Akita, Jessie, has turned out to be a virtual people magnet and was instrumental in helping us meet many people along the way. If you are one of them, look carefully, you are probably featured in the gallery. If you are the couple on your Honeymoon, you are one of our best memories. If you haven't been to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, you are missing out on one of the best destinations anywhere. Enjoy as we spend a morning on Cadillac Mtn.
