Oct 31, 1990 - Dec 29, 2014: Memorial Tribute

Thomas Kane MacPhee... eternally alive! Born 10-31-1990, yes that is Halloween... in Worcester, MA to the families of Pamela (Kane French) and John Randall MacPhee, me and Tom's dad. Born again around 2003 into the family of God for all eternity with Holden Chapel friends at Camp Berea. As a boy, Tommy grew up in the communities of Worcester & Holden, MA. On August 14, 2006 (I think is the right date) Tom's family more than doubled, adding his second mom, Irina, brother, Nick, and 3 sisters, Aiden, Arianna, and Ania, not to mention dog, Cooper. Tom loves his pets.

As a very young man, Thomas' family moved to Cape Cod and resided in the communities of Dennisport, Sandwich, West Yarmouth, and lastly, Hyannis, the "hub" of Barnstable. While in Yarmouth, his family grew again almost tripling its original size when on July 30, 2010 Tom received... graciously I might add... his second dad, Bob, his 4th brother, Ryan, and yes, 3 more beautiful sisters, Audra, Kayla, and Tara. And the added bonuses are 2 brother-in-laws Greg and Erick, and 2 nephews, Collin and Sebastian. Lastly, Tom, himself as best man, welcomed Julie into his family as his sister and new bride to his brother, Will, this past June 14, 2014.... Flag Day.... on the Army base of Ft Bliss, in El Paso, TX.

Tommy was educated by a host of folk including his beloved and amazing daycare moms Carol, Rose, and Vinni. Tom was also educated by the great teachers and administrators of Clark Street, Jefferson, and Davis Hill Elementary Schools, Mt View Middle School, and Wachusett Regional and Barnstable High Schools. Thomas Kane MacPhee was part of the BHS graduating class of 2009, right out on that football field out back.

Tom earned admittance to and attended the Coast Guard Academy's summer "camp". He also earned a 4 year scholarship to U Maine Orono's Navy ROTC program and Tom studied science and psychology at Cape Cod Community College.

Tommy was baptized as a baby, grew spiritually and worshipped at Boylston Congregational Church, Holden Chapel, Camp Berea in Hebron, NH, and a host of Christ - centered churches on Cape Cod, including Hope Baptist Church where our Pastor Mike is our "shephard". Over his life, Tom was mentored and discipled by Pastor Charlie, Pastor Dan, Pastor Tom, Pastor Mike, and others. We thank you all.

"T", (another one of Tom's names) played on many athletic teams in his communities and schools. He enjoyed many seasons of youth soccer, 1 season of pop-warner and 1 of flag football, and skiing at Mt. Wachusett. He earned varsity letters in lacross and swimming here at BHS, go Red Raiders! Many thanks to all his dedicated coaches.

Tom loved the outdoors and all that goes with it. ... hiking, biking, rocket launching, skating, fishing, and the list goes on. He loved his many pets over the years, cats Oliver and Ellie, Harriet and Skeeter, and Macky, our greyhound Toby, and springer spaniel, Christy, and can't forget sweeties Cooper and Gracie. Macky is still prowling around Dennisport, probably looking for Tom. One of his favorite jobs, pet-sitting and house sitting for his dearest Stephanie family and those two kittens.

Tom helped his dad build a wood - strip kayak and named it the Black Pearl. Tommy enjoyed drawing, drumming, and building lego masterpieces especially with his beloved brothers Will and Andrew.

Tom is a dear friend to so, so many. He has friends from all over New England and byond. Tom is an absolute lover of life! In his more recent years, when he wasn't spending his days working the oyster farms off the sun-filled shores of the Cape, you could find him surrounded by his friends listening to music, dancing, laughing or scheming on his next big adventure, which by the way is a cruise this spring, right? See I'm not the last to know! Tom was that kind of young man that he even became friends with his parents friends and with his friends parents. Tom knew how to love people just by enjoying whatever time he had with someone.

Tom lived his earthly life to the fullest and especially loved the winter months where he spent his days (and nights!) skiing. Tom is a loving and caring friend who always wears a smile and always makes those around him smile along.

Tom is part of an enormous and loving family. In addition to his immediate family of 20..
hope I didn't forget anyone.... Tom shares a host of amazing aunts and uncles and cousins with all his siblings, many of which are right here with us. Tom is also the beloved grandson of his Nana & Grampa MacPhee in Maine and Nana & Grampa French in NH. Both grampas welcomed Tom into Heaven along with all his family gone before him. Tom also had the extra special gift of meeting 3 of his great-grandparents.

You, Tom, are so greatly missed and are always loved by your family and friends from all over beautiful New England and beyond. Thank you for making life better while you were here and through the legacy of a life well lived, we carry your torch! You have blessed so many and continue to be a blessing. We thank you and thank God for you.
