As part of your trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park don't fail to leave the park and explore some of the most interesting coastline and photo opportunities in Maine. One of our favorite spots is the Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse which is photogenic from above and below. While there we encountered a deer feeding in the woods. We were thrilled at being able to capture a series of close ups showing amazing detail. We took the western route back to "civilization" meandering along the beautiful coastline with vistas of flowers and harbors filled with fishing boats and lobster pots.
