Gallery 13 of our 2019 Road Trip takes us from the Flying Saddle Resort in Alpine, WY to the Grayson's (close friends) in Kaysville, UT.

The day began with an urgent 6am call from our neighbor, Jim. He noticed that our bulkhead was open. Several calls later we determined that our Andrew had been playing ping pong in the basement and had forgotten to close the bulkhead. Whew!

On the way to Kaysville we stopped at an Ogden BEST BUY to pick up an external 4TB Hard Drive to back up our pictures (approx 9,000 at the end of the trip).

We arrived at the Graysons' around 6pm for a late home cooked meal...Nice.

Jessie did not take to Lady, her host, so she was banned to the car until bedtime at which time she was allowed to spend the night with us in the guest bedroom.

On the next day, July 20, we had a breakfast prepared by Bill, did laundry, and took a day trip to Powder Mountain. Highlights were an official sanctioned mountain bike race, a racing Ford GT, raspberry shakes at Chris' and BBQ ribs back in Kaysville.

The next morning Jessie was put back in the car as we had breakfast on the porch. We had just begun to eat when we heard a sound at the gate. We looked out and there was Jessie, waiting to be let in. We still find it hard to believe that she was able to escape with the windows down only about 5 inches.

It was a great visit with the Graysons'-- just the right balance of hanging out, good food, day trips, the Tour de France, a Western Movie for Bob and Bill and long chats on the patio for the girls. But all good things must come to an end and we headed out around noon on July 21.

Next stop, Olivia (Pam's niece) and family in Orem UT (see Gallery 13).
