We've taken you to Errol before. You know the drill. You arrive to a grand welcome from Doug who runs Northern Waters whitewater school. You appreciate the convenient dining at the Northern Exposure Restaurant. You enjoy great almost wilderness Kayaking just south of the Canada border.
But what does that have to do with the mystery? Some possibilities to consider:
1. Could it have something to do with why we could not call Kayla and Greg on their first wedding anniversary? (Sorry, you two, we tried, but our cell phones wouldn't work)
2. Perhaps it has something to do with why the Eagle nest has completely disappeared from the top of the "Eagle Tree." After 15 years ....
3. Or maybe it pertains to why we did not continue our voyage to the Rapid River.
4. Or who might have been watching us as we had lunch on their dock on the other side of the Umbagog.
5. Other possibilities are why, at one point, our kayaks were "tilted" towards one another for no apparant reason?
6. Or how two Dartmouth Tuck School of Business graduates recovered after flipping their canoe within 10 feet of Bob.
7. Or why Larry and Ann are still together after riding their motorcycle across the country. Ann was free to request the nearest airport at any point along the way.
8. Or how a whitewater guide can paddle and play the banjo at the same time.
9. Or how to take pictures of a bear without being in any danger whatsoever.
10. Or how many people does it take to paddle a catamaran Kayak Sailboat?
11. Or what happened to the missing letters at the Wentworth Location Cemetery?
12. Or what kind of fly was the fisherman using that caught 31 fish in less than an hour?
13. Or what is the Lincoln Plantation doing up in Maine? And who is around to use that church...anyway?
14. Or what did Pam see that Bob did not see when they were driving along Moose Alley?
15. And finally, why were the letters on the MysterySign changed from orange to purple? A significant reversal.
These are some of the possibilities ... but none are the answer. Don't jump to the obvious conclusion...as some of you already have done.
For the answer it will be necessasry to continue viewing my galleries as the summer unfolds. In the meantime I am willing to entertain any of your guesses.
