That's right folks. Not Alaska but Laconia, NH. You want to watch SLOW? Go to Alaska and watch the Iditerod. But if you want to watch FAST, then Laconia is the ticket. These dogs can pull a sled up and down hills for 15 miles and never break out of a gallop. They are fierce competitors and docile pets. This year there were entrants from as far away as Quebec, Minnesota and Germany. Come watch the excitement and pagentry of the 80th Annual World Championship Sled Dog Derby.
